The 2019 Monaco Grand Prix was a remarkably accident-free event, with only one of the twenty drivers not finishing the race. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc punctured his tire and retired from the race on lap 16. On the same lap there was a car parked sideways on the Rascasse corner causing a blockage for multiple drivers for several seconds. Race leader Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen made contact on lap 76 with Hamilton getting the better of the exchange and Lewis Hamilton maintains the lead through the finish line winning with a time of 1:43:28.437, his 3rd Monaco GP victory. Sebastian Vettel finished 2nd and Valtteri Bottas finished 3rd.
