2021 O'Reilly Auto Parts 253 - Highlights
Christopher Bell won his first Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway road course in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 253. With just two laps remaining, Bell managed to pass Joey Logano for the win. Bell was near the front of the pack for a for a good portion of the race. Chase Elliot led 44 of 70 laps, but with just 14 laps remaining, he pitted for rain tires under a caution, which lost him several positions on the restart. Logano struggled to avoid spinning out in the grass, but it ended up being his first road course loss in five races. Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch, Brad Keselowski, and Kevin Harvick made up the rest of the top 6 that day.

2021 Daytona 500 - Highlights
It was a rain delayed start to NASCAR's 2021 season. The unexpected winner was Michael McDowell, who managed to stay close behind Brad Keselowski, waiting for his chance to make a move. McDowell anticipated that Keselowski would go for it which ended up having his teammate Joey Logano throwing a block on him, crashing both them. McDowell stayed where he was, foot on the floor, and drove through the crash scene, ending up in a unexpected upset. This was McDowell's first win in 358 Cup starts. His win came while there was a lot of chatter about whether or not Denny Hamlin would pull off his third consecutive Daytona 500 victory.
2021 Duel at Daytona Phase 2 - Highlights
Phase 2 of the twin qualifying races for the Daytona 500 set the outside row the main event. Austin Dillon managed to outrace Bubba Wallace to the finish line, snagging him the number 4 starting position. His win was similar to one of his previous victories in 2018 Daytona 500 where he lead only the last lap, finishing just a quarter of a second a head of Wallace. This qualifying race would put Kevin Harvick at number 8, Kyle Busch at number 10, and Chase Elliot at number 12 for the Daytona 500.
2021 Duel at Daytona Phase 1 - Highlights
The first of twin 150-mile races took place at Daytona International Speedway. This qualifying race would set the inside row for the Daytona 500. Aric Almirola won the race, securing the number 3 position. Teammates Alex Bowman and William Bryan posted the fastest qualifying lap times, which gave them the number 2 pole position. Ryan Preece, and David Ragan earned their entry into the race as well with their their qualifying runs, securing two of the four open spots in the field.
2020 NASCAR Cup Series Championship - Highlights
Chase Elliot snagged his first NASCAR Cup Series title at Phoenix Raceway. He became the third youngest Cup Series champion in NASCAR history. Elliot managed to top his fellow finalists Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, and Joey Logano. Multiple failures in the pre-race inspection put Elliot at the back of the pack, but he was able to move up to the third position by the end of Stage One of the race. He then moved up to second by the end of Stage Two, and took over in the final stage of the race. He ended up leading a race-high 153 laps, including the final 43 circuits after passing Logano on Lap 270.
2020 Xfinity 500 - Highlights
Chase Elliot had a 6.577 second victory over Ryan Blaney in the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway, which earned him a position in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship finale. Nine-race winner Kevin Harvick failed a last lap pass, which eliminated him from advancing onto the final round of the series. He had to pass 2019 series champion Kyle Busch in order to gain the position. Instead, the cars crashed after rubbing, which pushed Harvick back to the 17th position, 8 points shy of being able to make it to the next and final race.
2020 Autotrader Echopark Automotive 500 - Highlights
After the weather delayed the Autotrader Echopark Automotive three times, Kyle Busch managed to merge ahead as the winner on the third continuation of the race at Texas Motor Speedway. 72 hours, 28 minutes, and 34 seconds had elapsed between when the red flag was brought out on Sunday due to weather, and the re-continuation the following Wednesday. Busch was able to save enough fuel over the last green flag run to get 66 laps. He was running so low, that his car ran out of gas during his victory burnout at the end of the race. It was his first of the season, preserving his 16 year run of winning at least one race per season.
