No. 18 driver Kyle Busch of Joe Gibbs Racing won the 2019 Ford EcoBoost 400, held at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. This was the final race in the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The Championship 4 consisted of Busch, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. Hamlin started the race in first position but after some jockeying Truex Jr. led 98 of the next 100 laps. Due to a mishap of his crew replacing his tires incorrectly, Martin had to pit again and lost the lead to teammate Busch, who ended up leading 120 of the remaining laps and won his 2nd Nascar championship of his career. Truex Jr finished 2nd.
