Joey Logano snagged his second win of the season at the FanShield 500 in Phoenix, Arizona. He managed to maintain his late-lap lead throughout overtime against Kevin Harvick, who ended up in second place after leading the race for 66 laps. Brad Keselowski broke out early on the short track and managed to maintain a lead for 35 laps, despite a crash on lap 65. By the third stage of the race, Logano and Keselowski were battling for 20 laps. Logano found an opening ahead of Keselowski, and Keselowski fell back in the pack due to his older tires.
