After the weather delayed the Autotrader Echopark Automotive three times, Kyle Busch managed to merge ahead as the winner on the third continuation of the race at Texas Motor Speedway. 72 hours, 28 minutes, and 34 seconds had elapsed between when the red flag was brought out on Sunday due to weather, and the re-continuation the following Wednesday. Busch was able to save enough fuel over the last green flag run to get 66 laps. He was running so low, that his car ran out of gas during his victory burnout at the end of the race. It was his first of the season, preserving his 16 year run of winning at least one race per season.
