2005 Daytona 500 - Full Race
No. 24 driver Jeff Gordon won the 47th running of the Daytona 500. It was Gordon's 3rd Daytona 500 win. NASCAR implemented a new green-white-checker finish rule the season before. The race had three extra laps due to a caution. Kurt Busch also finished in 2nd place, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished third.
